The memorial day weekend(5/26/2007-05/28/2007) was made memorable with a trip to Morro Bay . Since one of our friends were coming from LA and we from Bay Area, Morro Bay was the mid-point. It was approx. 3 1/2 hours drive from either side.
There were 7 families getting together in 2 townhouses – the main attraction was cooking and eating. Ofcourse , socializing and games were also thrown in part of the time. Pismo beach is a wide, pristine beach – white sand that streches across miles. A couple of us visited the beautiful Hearst Castle near San Luis Obispo.
The kids had the most fun – good time playing in sand, playing inside the house, sometimes fighting. We grown ups too had fun playing some new innovative games – Farmer and Thieves was a big hit. Then singers and non-singers sang. While parting we all decided to get together like this more often.
